Rosario Central's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oakcroft Thrashers the free kick. A collision led to Rosario Central getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Leonardo Vito hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Tobias Jernberg sped through Rosario Central's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mateo Pietro. Mateo Pietro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Wassenius in the 34th minute of play. Mateo Pietro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Jernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Jernberg in the 42nd minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Mateo Pietro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Dan Wassenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Pietro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dan Wassenius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Pietro was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felipe Gilesindo to strike the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Hulberto hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Toli in the 55th minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Rickard Wennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Gilesindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Wennerström having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Dan Wassenius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oakcroft Thrashers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Wassenius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Gilesindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rickard Wennerström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Wassenius had several of the Rosario Central's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Mateo Pietro as he didn't even see the shot coming. Mateo Pietro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Wassenius in the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Wassenius came free, but Mateo Pietro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Haimar during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eustaquio Toli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Rickard Wennerström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Ovidio Haimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Florencio Chayo got a free kick in the 91st minute. Mateo Pietro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingvar Lagerberg in the 92nd minute. Rickard Wennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Toli, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Oakcroft Thrashers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
