When Mauro Matos came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Baraja Española FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Matos couldn't finish the play. Camilo Theodore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zisis Vourlis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Πυργετός Fc's Amado Osmundo threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Timos Vrachnos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Πυργετός Fc getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Vladimiros Katsavos hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Πυργετός Fc's zone, Mauro Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zisis Vourlis came out of the goal and Mauro Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zisis Vourlis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Matos in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Πυργετός Fc defense, Mauro Matos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zisis Vourlis. The Πυργετός Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zisis Vourlis should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Matos in the 36th minute of play forced Πυργετός Fc's goalkeeper Zisis Vourlis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Edorta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zisis Vourlis having to make a save. In the 41st minute Mauro Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zisis Vourlis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Edorta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Zisis Vourlis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Stefanos Provatas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Baraja Española FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Apolo Bento hit a great ball. Timos Vrachnos hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Mauro Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
