The referee ignored Πυργετός Fc's protests and gave Thodoris Koutsos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Πυργετός Fc's Thodoris Koutsos got a free kick in the 28th minute. Evert Hjälm kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Πυργετός Fc got a freekick which was hit by Thodoris Koutsos. 31 minutes into the game, Evert Hjälm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yung Gunners FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Πυργετός Fc the free kick. Klas Rudqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Zisis Vourlis made a huge save. With his leg Zisis Vourlis managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Yung Gunners FK's Evert Hjälm fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulf Hedman to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Yung Gunners FK booed when Πυργετός Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omiros Gletsos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sebastian Berglund came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Yung Gunners FK fans jumped to their feet. Zisis Vourlis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thodoris Koutsos hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Zisis Vourlis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Karlstedt in the 75th minute of the match. Πυργετός Fc's Zisis Vourlis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Hjälm in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Πυργετός Fc's Timos Vrachnos got a free kick in the 84th minute. Zisis Vourlis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klas Rudqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Πυργετός Fc's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
