Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Casimiro Gabon started the match with the kick off. Aaron Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Bittencourt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aaron Fe having to make a save. After 17 minutes of play, AVAÍ F.C.'s Joaquim Ceresso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Fe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aaron Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casimiro Gabon in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horácio Tasso saved AVAÍ F.C. from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Bittencourt in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Fe saved Patricio Rey Futbol Club from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Juan Bittencourt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Fe. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Bittencourt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Bittencourt in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Fe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 minutes of play, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Casimiro Gabon made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Fe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Aaron Fe made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Juan Bittencourt sent off a good shot on target. Aírton Xavier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Aaron Fe made a huge save. Benjamin Mancio's late challenge caught a AVAÍ F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Mancio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AVAÍ F.C. booed when Patricio Rey Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Mancio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AVAÍ F.C.'s zone, Braulio Locaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horácio Tasso came out of the goal and Braulio Locaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Bittencourt got free with Aaron Fe in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 66 minutes, Aírton Xavier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AVAÍ F.C. and the Patricio Rey Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes AVAÍ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Xavier. In the 68th minute of the match Braulio Locaio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horácio Tasso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Horácio Tasso came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Casimiro Gabon. But to his dismay, Casimiro Gabon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Casimiro Gabon succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-4. If Benjamin Mancio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaron Fe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aírton Xavier in the 87th minute. Paolo Urtun's late challenge caught a AVAÍ F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paolo Urtun helped the player get up and apologised. AVAÍ F.C.'s Juan Bittencourt was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 93rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The AVAÍ F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AVAÍ F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
