The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Alfredinho Martins recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivan Trindade. Alfredinho Martins showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 9th minute, Raimundo Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Esquadrão Lusitano's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho Martins came free, but Ivan Trindade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabino Carrasqueira hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Esquadrão Lusitano's Pedro Setúbal got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Sabino Carrasqueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esquadrão Lusitano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bebela the free kick. In the 18th minute, Sabino Carrasqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Claudinho de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Trindade came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Bebela's Alfredo Custódio. But to his dismay, Alfredo Custódio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Esquadrão Lusitano getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Pedro Setúbal hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Esquadrão Lusitano's Gregório Casado got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 32 played minutes Esquadrão Lusitano got a freekick which was hit by Nelio Bombardeiro. After a rather tough play, Esquadrão Lusitano's Sabino Carrasqueira got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Claudinho de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Emanuel Fagundes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bebela's Raimundo Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Eger during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bebela getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alfredinho Martins hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Nelio Bombardeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Eger to strike the kick off in the second half. Nelio Bombardeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aírton Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Ivan Trindade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Martins in the 68th minute of the match. After 73 minutes of play, Bebela's Alfredo Custódio made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Trindade was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivan Trindade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelio Bombardeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Azevedo having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bebela had played much better football throughout.
