After recieving a nice pass, Hornbosteler SV's Steen Püschel tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Reinhard Widmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zack Zyanchurin in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Zack Zyanchurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinhard Widmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinhard Widmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zack Zyanchurin in the 17th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Hornbosteler SV's goal looked a bit too open when Nelio Bombardeiro came free, but Reinhard Widmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reinhard Widmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelio Bombardeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Esquadrão Lusitano's Nelio Bombardeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esquadrão Lusitano's Nelio Bombardeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reinhard Widmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zack Zyanchurin in the 35th minute of the match. Reinhard Widmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zack Zyanchurin went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th match minute, Esquadrão Lusitano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregório Junqueira to maneuver through the defense. Sabino Carrasqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Reinhard Widmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nelio Bombardeiro made a kick off. Nelio Bombardeiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Esquadrão Lusitano's Cesário Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aparício Soveral hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Reinhard Widmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelio Bombardeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Gregório Junqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Hornbosteler SV getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Steen Püschel hit a great ball. Reinhard Widmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelio Bombardeiro in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match, Nelio Bombardeiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Reinhard Widmann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Esquadrão Lusitano booed when Hornbosteler SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tjard Fleiner didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelio Bombardeiro in the 84th minute of play forced Hornbosteler SV's goalkeeper Reinhard Widmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Hornbosteler SV's goalkeeper Reinhard Widmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zack Zyanchurin. Esquadrão Lusitano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabino Carrasqueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Sabino Carrasqueira took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Reinhard Widmann to make any attempt to save it. When the match was over Esquadrão Lusitano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hornbosteler SV throughout the match.
