In the 11th minute, Dave Maiorano made a precise shot to the right of Ercole Briganti. Fiume Veneto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 14 minutes into the game, Daniele Berardinelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ercole Briganti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Fiume Veneto getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Claudio Papetti hit a great ball. Fiume Veneto's Ercole Briganti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Maiorano in the 24th minute of play. Ercole Briganti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Berardinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Claudio Papetti might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Marzulli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Papetti ran back to his position shaking his head. After 38 played minutes Lupi Grigi got a freekick which was hit by Ciccio Orioli. Ercole Briganti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Cara in the 44th minute of the match. A collision led to Fiume Veneto getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Demetrio Giorgi hit a great ball. Ercole Briganti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Contaldi in the 48th minute of play.

Fiume Veneto's Ercole Briganti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Berardinelli in the 54th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's goalkeeper Ercole Briganti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dave Maiorano. In the 64th minute of the match, Enzo Cara got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ercole Briganti was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Demetrio Giorgi during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes Fiume Veneto got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Giorgi. After 67 played minutes Fiume Veneto got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Simone. Claudio Papetti's late challenge caught a Lupi Grigi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Fiume Veneto got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Papetti. In the 87th minute Dave Maiorano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Briganti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lupi Grigi booed when Fiume Veneto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesare Marinelli didn't get a good kick on the ball.
