The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexis Dellios got free with Diogo Velloso in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Alexis Dellios notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Chelsicha's Diogo Velloso. Diogo Velloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 45 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Grigoris Plexioudas. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Olympiacos FC's Panos Loukas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chelsicha. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Olympiacos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chelsicha had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
