In the 8th minute, Avraam Chalkias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilio Lonzo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 21stth minute of the game Gogo Bixintxo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympiacos FC's Takis Nestoriou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernan Maurino struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Takis Nestoriou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alejandra. When Olympiacos FC's Avraam Chalkias in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olympiacos FC reached it. In the 41stth minute of the game Avraam Chalkias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alejandra's Emilio Lonzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Braulio Quinito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Lonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avraam Chalkias in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, Alejandra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Berto to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gogo Bixintxo was the one to do the kick off. Teofilo Austin's late challenge caught a Olympiacos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teofilo Austin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Olympiacos FC booed when Alejandra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Austin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Markos Kareklopoulos in the 55th minute really tested Emilio Lonzo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Marcelino Perrando charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Perrando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Olympiacos FC made a substitution. Kostas Tziolas replaced Alexis Dellios. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Alejandra:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Olympiacos FC:s goal. The referee gave Olympiacos FC a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dimitris Koudas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alejandra's Emilio Lonzo. 0-3. When Marcelino Perrando was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. In the 64th match minute, Alejandra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Perrando to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Lonzo made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Fanis Schinas sent off a good shot on target. Braulio Quinito kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Dimitris Koudas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Lonzo having to interfere. The supporters of Alejandra booed when Olympiacos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Tziolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilio Lonzo made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Avraam Chalkias sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Dimitris Koudas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Lonzo was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 83 minutes into the game, Dimitris Koudas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emilio Lonzo. Dimitris Koudas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 89th match minute, Olympiacos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Papathomas to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Lonzo made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Avraam Chalkias sent off a good shot on target. Avraam Chalkias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Emilio Lonzo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fernan Maurino kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The Olympiacos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
