But to his dismay, Uffe Joder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Borussia Ostermoordorf's goalkeeper Hans Bushuven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Paulo Ferraz. Borussia Ostermoordorf's Hans Bushuven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paulo Ferraz in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, José Paulo Ferraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Athletico Paulistano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 16th minute, José Paulo Ferraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hans Bushuven was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Fritz Rudolf Lüdemann fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borussia Ostermoordorf's protests and gave Fritz Rudolf Lüdemann a yellow card for diving instead. José Paulo Ferraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Hans Bushuven made a huge save. When Samon Hellrung fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borussia Ostermoordorf's protests and gave Samon Hellrung a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Borussia Ostermoordorf got a freekick which was hit by Samon Hellrung. Borussia Ostermoordorf were furious when Niko Buckmüller was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Club Athletico Paulistano's Oséas Quintal got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hans Bushuven. José Paulo Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans Bushuven made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Oséas Quintal sent off a good shot on target. After 39th play minutes José Paulo Ferraz shot 5-1, a short shot which went by Hans Bushuven and just under the crossbar into goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Memet Hinschberger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that José Paulo Ferraz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hans Bushuven was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Hans Bushuven came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Athletico Paulistano's José Paulo Ferraz. But to his dismay, José Paulo Ferraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Hans Bushuven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Ferraz in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Ferraz in the 67th minute of play forced Borussia Ostermoordorf's goalkeeper Hans Bushuven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes, Percy Cearense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Athletico Paulistano and the Borussia Ostermoordorf players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Club Athletico Paulistano got a freekick which was hit by Percy Cearense. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, José Paulo Ferraz put it in 8-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hans Bushuven. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uffe Joder in the 82nd minute of play forced Club Athletico Paulistano's goalkeeper Tony Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birger Koppenhöfer during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Birger Koppenhöfer hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Hans Bushuven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséas Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Club Athletico Paulistano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Borussia Ostermoordorf for a fine match.
