The audience thought a goal was coming when César Vidal got free with Baldomero Florinio in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. César Vidal hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Super Chechona FC's Jeronimo Bastian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laerte de Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Horacio Belmiro put in a rough tackle. 17 minutes into the game, one of Super Chechona FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, Super Chechona FC's Baldomero Florinio got control of the ball when Hélio Bittencourt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laerte de Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeronimo Bastian went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute, Faustão Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 minutes of play, Super Chechona FC's Jeronimo Bastian made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laerte de Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hélio Bittencourt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Baldomero Florinio made a huge save. After the first half Super Chechona FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeronimo Bastian to make the kick off. Baldomero Florinio came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Passa o Tanque MZ's César Vidal. But to his dismay, César Vidal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 3-4 when César Vidal sped through Super Chechona FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baldomero Florinio. A collision led to Super Chechona FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gaston Isusko hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Super Chechona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Macedo came free, but Baldomero Florinio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Hélio Bittencourt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Florinio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. If Hélio Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Paulo Macedo notched a goal, 5-4, to the right of Super Chechona FC's Baldomero Florinio. Baldomero Florinio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 80 minutes into the game, Passa o Tanque MZ's César Vidal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Florinio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-4. Baldomero Florinio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The audience was convinced that César Vidal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Florinio was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Silvinho Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomero Florinio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Macedo in the 92nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Passa o Tanque MZ had won after a very even match.
