But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Crispo couldn't finish the play. Minuim SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Salgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Minuim SS's Narciso Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Minuim SS from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Minuim SS's Conrado Mangueira got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Clemente Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ilazki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. A collision led to NeW York CitY CopS getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Generoso Galsino hit a great ball. Minuim SS's Reynaldo Gaspar has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. Narciso Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Lidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The supporters of Minuim SS booed when NeW York CitY CopS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Hrabina didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. NeW York CitY CopS had won after a very even match.
