The referee showed Luiz Fábio Branco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnaldo Fanuco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antônio Carlos Linhares went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fausto Mero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Josué da Mata made a huge save. Fervent Stalkers were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Xurupita FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Froilan Ladio took the corner. Froilan Ladio made a great header on Fervent Stalkers's corner, it was just that Xurupita FC's Josué da Mata managed to reach the ball for a save. Giovanni Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Arnaldo Fanuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovanni Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Téo Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Fanuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Fausto Mero notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Xurupita FC's Josué da Mata. Josué da Mata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xurupita FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Fausto Mero scored to the left of an out of position Josué da Mata, making the score, 3-1. A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Téo Hoffmann hit a great ball. After 38 minutes of play, Fervent Stalkers's Fausto Mero made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josué da Mata was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the game, Giovanni Furtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Arnaldo Fanuco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

56 minutes into the game, Fervent Stalkers's Froilan Ladio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josué da Mata made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. In the 59th minute of the match, Eliseu Linhares got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnaldo Fanuco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Mero in the 60th minute of play forced Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Josué da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Froilan Ladio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Josué da Mata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th minute, Ramon Quexal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fervent Stalkers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Giovanni Furtado hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Mero came free, but Josué da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Eliseu Linhares notched a goal, 7-3, to the right of Fervent Stalkers's Arnaldo Fanuco. Arnaldo Fanuco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Josué da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Mero, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the referee ended the match the Fervent Stalkers players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
