One of Hawelka Himalayan High:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Xurupita FC:s goal. If Eliseu Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Léo Pires kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ernst Nordgren. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Ernst Nordgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léo Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Léo Pires in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernst Nordgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hawelka Himalayan High's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nico Abraão was slow to take the kick. During this time Xurupita FC's players had a chance to rest. Nico Abraão made a great header on Xurupita FC's corner, it was just that Hawelka Himalayan High's Ernst Nordgren managed to reach the ball for a save. Léo Pires hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Antônio Carlos Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Xurupita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Villiam Ekman came free, but Josué da Mata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villiam Ekman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué da Mata having to interfere. After 37 minutes, Villiam Ekman made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Xurupita FC's Josué da Mata tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Villiam Ekman struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Josué da Mata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hawelka Himalayan High. Hawelka Himalayan High's Villiam Ekman got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josué da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villiam Ekman, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After some careless play in the Xurupita FC defense, Gottfrid Almkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Josué da Mata. The Xurupita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Josué da Mata should have stopped the shot. After the first half Hawelka Himalayan High were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Léo Pires made a kick off. In the 57th minute of the match, Villiam Ekman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Josué da Mata was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Josué da Mata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Måns Rosen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 minutes of play, Hawelka Himalayan High's Villiam Ekman made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josué da Mata was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hawelka Himalayan High's goalkeeper Ernst Nordgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Xurupita FC's Luiz Fábio Branco got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Agne Bodin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernst Nordgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernst Nordgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Linhares in the 78th minute of the match. Måns Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josué da Mata made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Villiam Ekman sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Raphael Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villiam Ekman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Josué da Mata having to make a save. Raphael Meira hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Antônio Carlos Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xurupita FC's goalkeeper Josué da Mata, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Hawelka Himalayan High booed when Xurupita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Carlos Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Xurupita FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hawelka Himalayan High were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
