Hector Fagondo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Orti during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th match minute, BloodHounds F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Orti to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes GLADIADORES got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Simões. Eurico Arantes made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Evelio Quico sent off a good shot on target. Eloy Fiz's late challenge caught a GLADIADORES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eloy Fiz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, BloodHounds F.C.'s Eloy Fiz got a free kick in the 24th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Fagondo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Agnaldo Dias scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hector Fagondo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. GLADIADORES's Eurico Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Quico in the 32nd minute of play. Hector Fagondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Veiga in the 35th minute of play. When Alfredo Montxo fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BloodHounds F.C.'s protests and gave Alfredo Montxo a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredo Montxo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. BloodHounds F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eloy Fiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Arantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Veiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eurico Arantes came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by BloodHounds F.C.'s Eloy Fiz. But to his dismay, Eloy Fiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The audience was convinced that Eloy Fiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eurico Arantes was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Zeca Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Fagondo having to interfere. Hector Fagondo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oscar Veiga in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Zeca Guimarães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hector Fagondo was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 72 minutes into the match, Alfredo Montxo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eurico Arantes. GLADIADORES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Montxo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Guaberto Santikurtz hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Evelio Quico made a precise shot to the right of Eurico Arantes. GLADIADORES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. After a rather tough play, BloodHounds F.C.'s Rigoberto Rocendo got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in BloodHounds F.C.'s zone, Flavinho Brodel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Fagondo came out of the goal and Flavinho Brodel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as GLADIADORES's Agnaldo Dias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hector Fagondo. That made the score 3-5 after 90 minutes of play. Oscar Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. GLADIADORES had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
