GLADIADORES's Eurico Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Toro in the 11th minute of play. Saverio Benat hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Enio Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Fabricio Loi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Piquirenda FC's Nicasio Lauaxeta got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Valdir Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Piquirenda FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nicasio Lauaxeta hit a great ball. Flavinho Arantes didn't quite understand what happened when in the 30 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After some careless play in the GLADIADORES defense, Maximiliano Toro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eurico Arantes. The GLADIADORES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eurico Arantes should have stopped the shot. Agnaldo Dias's late challenge caught a Piquirenda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agnaldo Dias helped the player get up and apologised. 37 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Toro came free, but Eurico Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Toro in the 38th minute of play forced GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Eurico Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes, Fabricio Loi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piquirenda FC and the GLADIADORES players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guga Gaspar charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guga Gaspar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, GLADIADORES's Guga Gaspar got a free kick in the 45th minute. Maximiliano Toro's late challenge caught a GLADIADORES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Toro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of GLADIADORES booed when Piquirenda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Piquirenda FC made a substitution. Samuel Munio replaced Fabricio Loi. The wind increased when Saverio Benat made the kick off in the second half. If Samuel Munio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piquirenda FC's Lucio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca Guimarães in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Piquirenda FC's Iker Vistruario got a free kick in the 61st minute. Piquirenda FC made a substitution. Siro Endira replaced Delmiro Intxixu. Eurico Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Maximiliano Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piquirenda FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Toro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eurico Arantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eurico Arantes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximiliano Toro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 91 minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Piquirenda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Ilazki to maneuver through the defense. The GLADIADORES supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Piquirenda FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Piquirenda FC.
