Lee Kennedy didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Wesley Kerr had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kjell Lund. 21 minutes into the match, Mellbystrand IK's goal looked a bit too open when Mitch Lock came free, but Sven-Edvin Skräddare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Edvin Skräddare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darryl Hepburn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Edvin Skräddare didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Russ Trueman went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Sven-Edvin Skräddare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Hepburn, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mellbystrand IK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Lilley was slow to take the kick. During this time Valencia C.F.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Valencia C.F.'s corner Daniel Lilley fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sven-Edvin Skräddare quite easily take care of the ball. Wesley Kerr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elof Ekström in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Darryl Hepburn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Skräddare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Elof Ekström came free, but Wesley Kerr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elof Ekström made a kick off. Daniel Lilley took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sven-Edvin Skräddare. Mellbystrand IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sven-Edvin Skräddare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darryl Hepburn, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Mellbystrand IK's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Hepburn came free, but Sven-Edvin Skräddare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Russ Trueman got free with Sven-Edvin Skräddare in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valencia C.F. were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Mellbystrand IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Lilley took the corner. Sven-Edvin Skräddare made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Greg Deveraux sent off a good shot on target. Elof Ekström hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Greg Deveraux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
