Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Elof Ekström got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Mellbystrand IK getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gottfrid Apelquist hit a great ball. Harald Lundsgaardvig's late challenge caught a Mellbystrand IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harald Lundsgaardvig helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Skellerup FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Lundsgaardvig to maneuver through the defense. Kent Helsgaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sven-Edvin Skräddare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Kent Helsgaard made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Edvin Skräddare. Mellbystrand IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 18 minutes of play, Skellerup FC's Josef Belhøj made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Edvin Skräddare was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute, Josef Belhøj ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Edvin Skräddare was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some careless play in the Mellbystrand IK defense, Josef Belhøj kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Edvin Skräddare. The Mellbystrand IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Edvin Skräddare should have stopped the shot. Josef Belhøj recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven-Edvin Skräddare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Belhøj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Skellerup FC's Harry Bergø got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Mellbystrand IK's George Barck tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After the first half Skellerup FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josef Belhøj stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mellbystrand IK's Sven-Edvin Skräddare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Mellbystrand IK from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Skellerup FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jørgen Ebler hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Elof Ekström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mellbystrand IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Elof Ekström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ejvin Møllekær breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Harry Bergø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Edvin Skräddare made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Jann Sieg sent off a good shot on target. Harald Lundsgaardvig was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 73rd minute, Harald Lundsgaardvig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mellbystrand IK's George Barck couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Skellerup FC. If Jørgen Ebler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jørgen Ebler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Sven-Edvin Skräddare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kent Helsgaard kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Jørgen Ebler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Skräddare having to interfere. When the match was over Skellerup FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mellbystrand IK throughout the match.
