Frank Cusumano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florian Heeb's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Martin Wieser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amerigo Di Liddo in the 14th minute of the match. Florian Heeb hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th match minute, FC Triesenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralph Berno to maneuver through the defense. Frank Cusumano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhammet Deflorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Attilio Bolli's late challenge caught a FC Triesenberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Attilio Bolli helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Triesenberg booed when GG Team FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attilio Bolli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Wieser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amerigo Di Liddo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GG Team FC's Frank Cusumano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save GG Team FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FC Triesenberg getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ralph Berno hit a great ball. Frank Cusumano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Heeb in the 33rd minute of the match. Martin Wieser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Di Liddo in the 36th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Triesenberg defense, Amerigo Di Liddo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Wieser. The FC Triesenberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Wieser should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Muhammet Deflorin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Cusumano was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half GG Team FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amerigo Di Liddo was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, FC Triesenberg's goalkeeper Martin Wieser had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amerigo Di Liddo. In the 59th minute, Ralph Berno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 63 minutes GG Team FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kenan Alabor who took care of the corner kick. In the 65th minute, GG Team FC's Amerigo Di Liddo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martin Wieser. Martin Wieser yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Frank Cusumano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammet Deflorin in the 73rd minute of play. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by Fabrizio Granati with Felice Lepre as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The throw-in from Ermanno Arcangeli in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Triesenberg's Maximilian Richter. In the 87th minute Ralph Berno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Cusumano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Cusumano came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Triesenberg's Florian Heeb. But to his dismay, Florian Heeb quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
