Hasan Ramstein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of Sporting de Gijón booed when Lavindsgaarde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nickolai Hass didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lavindsgaarde FC's Hasan Ramstein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Lavindsgaarde FC from getting a goal against them. Lavindsgaarde FC's Hasan Ramstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Ubarna in the 12th minute of play. After 12 minutes of play, Sporting de Gijón's Amadeo Panpili made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hasan Ramstein was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 16 minutes, Angelo Bertin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting de Gijón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Bertin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Nickolai Hass managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hasan Ramstein was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ariel Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenni Perlfors in the 33rd minute of play. Nickolai Hass struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ariel Urbasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavindsgaarde FC. Arnoldo Ubarna in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hasan Ramstein, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Lavindsgaarde FC's zone, Arnoldo Ubarna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hasan Ramstein came out of the goal and Arnoldo Ubarna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hasan Ramstein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Ubarna in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

51 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Ubarna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting de Gijón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lavindsgaarde FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sporting de Gijón's Arnoldo Ubarna got a free kick in the 51st minute. Nickolai Hass received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ariel Urbasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony Skovsdal during the 56th minute. When Kenni Perlfors came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Lavindsgaarde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenni Perlfors couldn't finish the play. After 67 played minutes Sporting de Gijón got a freekick which was hit by Toto Belmonte. In the 68th minute Nickolai Hass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nickolai Hass received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ariel Urbasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hasan Ramstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Sporting de Gijón fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Sporting de Gijón's Arnoldo Ubarna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 81st match minute, Sporting de Gijón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Pelagius to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Nickolai Hass came free, but Ariel Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nickolai Hass blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Urbasa having to make a save. Sporting de Gijón were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lavindsgaarde FC for a fine match.
