Benicio Edorta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Günter Walloch came free, but Ariel Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Balluff hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Günter Walloch made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Günter Walloch notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Sporting de Gijón's Ariel Urbasa. Ariel Urbasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute Teodoro Niva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonso Nieth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Ubarna scored 2-5 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alonso Nieth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Eisenberg had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
