An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Greblă in the 4th minute of play forced SAPI FC's goalkeeper Abuy Mustaqim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, SAPI FC's goalkeeper Abuy Mustaqim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihnea Martinaș. When Horia Ghiorman fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BlueLionesse's protests and gave Horia Ghiorman a yellow card for diving instead. Horia Ghiorman kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes, SAPI FC's Jahfal Saroge shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cătălin Jdeica came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SAPI FC reached it. In the 12th match minute, BlueLionesse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacian Fetea to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Anak Gaul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Jdeica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SAPI FC were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after BlueLionesse's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jahfal Saroge took the corner. A collision led to SAPI FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Imam Asmawan hit a great ball. Mihnea Martinaș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Abuy Mustaqim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Horia Ghiorman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 20 minutes had been played. Horia Ghiorman hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. BlueLionesse made a substitution. Leonard Burghelea replaced Mihnea Martinaș. After 22 played minutes BlueLionesse got a freekick which was hit by Horia Ghiorman. Cătălin Jdeica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anak Gaul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Emanuel Greblă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cătălin Jdeica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anak Gaul's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 27th match minute, BlueLionesse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Greblă to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Greblă's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Abuy Mustaqim skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 33rd minute of the match, Dacian Fetea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abuy Mustaqim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 35th match minute, BlueLionesse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Iuzbașa to maneuver through the defense. Abuy Mustaqim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacian Fetea, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the match was over SAPI FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BlueLionesse throughout the match.
