In the 17th minute Sebbe Smits shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes Guayra FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matteo Van Halbeeck who took care of the corner kick. Jaunti Van Landschoot hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The Circus BAF fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Circus BAF's Sebbe Smits looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 27 minutes into the match, Steffe Van De Wijngaert notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Guayra FC's Duarte Carneiro. Duarte Carneiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Guayra FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Hélio de Almeida hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Sebbe Smits ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Carneiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Sebbe Smits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebbe Smits in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Duarte Carneiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Steffe Van De Wijngaert went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score.

The Circus BAF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Circus BAF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
