In the 8th minute, MetalGarurumon F.C's Lizer Bettencourt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stanny Van Wontergem. Stanny Van Wontergem yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 15 minutes, Lico Zurita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MetalGarurumon F.C and the YR Mechelen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lico Zurita kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes YR Mechelen got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Bruyneel. Stanny Van Wontergem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lizer Bettencourt went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oro Velo got free with Stanny Van Wontergem in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lizer Bettencourt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Stanny Van Wontergem made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, MetalGarurumon F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jozef Van Acker came free, but Xavian Portas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to MetalGarurumon F.C getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Hustaz Sasiain hit a great ball. In the 35th match minute, MetalGarurumon F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zaquiel Eibar to maneuver through the defense. Xavian Portas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Wirinckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Deunoro Cabalar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to YR Mechelen getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jan-Pieter Elsen hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Deunoro Cabalar made a precise shot to the right of Stanny Van Wontergem. YR Mechelen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 48 minutes into the match, YR Mechelen's goalkeeper Stanny Van Wontergem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelio Gonzalez. Nelio Gonzalez spun around in front of the goal 48 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of YR Mechelen's goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Deunoro Cabalar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enetz Beitia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stanny Van Wontergem. YR Mechelen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deunoro Cabalar in the 61st minute of play forced YR Mechelen's goalkeeper Stanny Van Wontergem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavian Portas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Dauwe in the 69th minute. In the 69th minute, Enetz Beitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, MetalGarurumon F.C's Lico Zurita got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Xavian Portas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Dauwe in the 74th minute of play. YR Mechelen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alan Wirinckx in the 75th minute. Alexandre Dauwe's late challenge caught a MetalGarurumon F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Dauwe helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes YR Mechelen got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Dauwe. In the 81st minute, Lizer Bettencourt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanny Van Wontergem was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Alexandre Dauwe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Xavian Portas made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, YR Mechelen's goal looked a bit too open when Nelio Gonzalez came free, but Stanny Van Wontergem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelio Gonzalez's late challenge caught a YR Mechelen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelio Gonzalez helped the player get up and apologised. YR Mechelen made a substitution. Stijn De Jong replaced Ricky Tilemans. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MetalGarurumon F.C had played much better football throughout.
