Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Fernando Maciel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Fernando Maciel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Família Ressaca MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 6 played minutes Galand FC got a freekick which was hit by Yrjö Nylund. Aimo Kyrönlahti hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. João Augusto Paraibano hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Vili Salo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean do Nascimento in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Jean do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vili Salo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaapo Luhtimaa in the 20th minute of play forced Família Ressaca MZ's goalkeeper Vitinho Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Olli-Pekka Grönvall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitinho Fontes. Família Ressaca MZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olli-Pekka Grönvall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 34 minutes of play, Família Ressaca MZ's Celsinho Vidal made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vili Salo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Família Ressaca MZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Simão Koehler in the 40th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Décio Mendonça recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vili Salo. Décio Mendonça showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yrjö Nylund made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Maciel in the 52nd minute of play forced Galand FC's goalkeeper Vili Salo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vili Salo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olli-Pekka Grönvall hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Vitinho Fontes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaapo Luhtimaa in the 66th minute. After 67 played minutes Família Ressaca MZ got a freekick which was hit by Durval de Medeiros. Vili Salo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Galand FC's zone, Décio Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vili Salo came out of the goal and Décio Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Galand FC defense, Jean do Nascimento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vili Salo. The Galand FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vili Salo should have stopped the shot. João Augusto Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Simão Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. A hard shot by Santeri Peltola from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Vitinho Fontes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Maciel in the 90th minute of play forced Galand FC's goalkeeper Vili Salo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Galand FC defense, Celsinho Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vili Salo. The Galand FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vili Salo should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Kaapo Luhtimaa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galand FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaapo Luhtimaa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitinho Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Família Ressaca MZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
