The supporters of Fecha Libre booed when Galand FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olli-Pekka Grönvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olli-Pekka Grönvall in the 26th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's goal looked a bit too open when Olli-Pekka Grönvall came free, but Leandro Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cirilo Paublo in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vili Salo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Olli-Pekka Grönvall kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. A hard shot by Kevin Zenón from long distance, 33 minutes into the match, got Vili Salo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 34th minute, Kaapo Luhtimaa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Galand FC's zone, Cirilo Paublo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vili Salo came out of the goal and Cirilo Paublo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kevin Zenón did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-2 to the left of a surprised Vili Salo 40 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Gerardo Rami left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fecha Libre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yrjö Nylund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cirilo Paublo in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vili Salo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vili Salo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Rami's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After 57 minutes of play, Fecha Libre's Cirilo Paublo made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vili Salo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 7-2 when Cirilo Paublo sped through Galand FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vili Salo. After a defensive mix-up in Galand FC's zone, Cirilo Paublo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vili Salo came out of the goal and Cirilo Paublo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerardo Txurio charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerardo Txurio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Fecha Libre's Gerardo Txurio got a free kick in the 71st minute. Vili Salo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Rami in the 83rd minute of the match. Vili Salo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Paublo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Kevin Zenón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vili Salo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Rami in the 89th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Paublo in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vili Salo saved Galand FC from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, Galand FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Rami came free, but Vili Salo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fecha Libre had won after a very even match.
