Conrado Macedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Oscar Pereira made a huge save. In the 18th match minute, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Linares to maneuver through the defense. Mexilhão F. C.'s Vitório de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Linares in the 23rd minute of play. Vânderson Teles was slow to take the kick. During this time Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's players had a chance to rest. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Vânderson Teles was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vitório de Salles in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Geraldo Linares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexilhão F. C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vânderson Teles was slow to take the kick. During this time Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's players had a chance to rest. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Vânderson Teles was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vitório de Salles in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Borges came free, but Vitório de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, Mexilhão F. C.'s Manoel Pitta made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oscar Pereira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Mexilhão F. C.'s Edmundo Novaes got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 77th minute, Vânderson Teles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mário Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário Queiroz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Vitório de Salles made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel Pitta came free, but Oscar Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Róbson Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexilhão F. C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร for a fine match.
