After 7 played minutes Stiinta-Univ. got a freekick which was hit by Costin Cuculeanu. After having played for 24 minutes, Manuel Aluncai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Aluncai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Traian Lupescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Stiinta-Univ.'s Costin Cuculeanu got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Felix Ghee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Bortzaioriz in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Manuel Aluncai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gualterio Loco. Quebrachitos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Aluncai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 39 played minutes Stiinta-Univ. got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Dragalina. Aquilino Montay kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Quebrachitos FC's Alfredo Harriet got a free kick in the 44th minute. Tadeo Mannie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Ghee read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mircea Creangă to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Silverio Bertol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Harriet hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Manuel Aluncai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 57 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mircea Creangă came free, but Gualterio Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Creangă in the 60th minute of play forced Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Loco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Loco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Traian Lupescu. Sandu Negara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Gualterio Loco made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Celedonio Gaizkine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quebrachitos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Felix Ghee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Nuxila, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Stiinta-Univ.'s Felix Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Mannie in the 75th minute of play. Sandu Negara scored 1-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gualterio Loco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Loco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandu Negara. A collision led to Quebrachitos FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Alfredo Harriet hit a great ball. Gualterio Loco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Aluncai in the 93rd minute of the match. Stiinta-Univ.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
