After 15 played minutes Desfachatados F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Pudes. In the 22nd minute, Ernani Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Melquiades Ritchie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desfachatados F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Ritchie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abel de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Cambranes in the 27th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Cambranes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Desfachatados F.C.'s Eleuterio Ulizes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abel de Medeiros. That made the score 1-1 after 54 minutes of play. 60 minutes into the game, Luís Guilherme de Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montalcino SE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Desfachatados F.C. the free kick. After 60 played minutes Montalcino SE got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme de Lara. Haroldo Maciel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Pello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael de Almeida in the 66th minute of play forced Desfachatados F.C.'s goalkeeper Esteve Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Desfachatados F.C.'s Lázaro Donostia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Desfachatados F.C.'s Javier Piearres was substituted for Melquiades Ritchie. Eleuterio Ulizes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute.
