After having played for 3 minutes, Osvaldinho Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachaça FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldinho Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egídio Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Szajk LC's Brúnó Jánosi got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 14 played minutes Cachaça FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Nascimento. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Abreu in the 18th minute of play forced Szajk LC's goalkeeper Álmos Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiago Gabriel Dionísio took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Álmos Simon. Álmos Simon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 26th minute Brúnó Jánosi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cachaça FC's Marcelinho Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brúnó Jánosi in the 28th minute of play. Álmos Simon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruninho Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelinho Teles made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when István Tulipán sent off a good shot on target. Tibor Lantos charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tibor Lantos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, Szajk LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibor Lantos to maneuver through the defense. Álmos Simon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. István Tulipán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Teles having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Cachaça FC got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Simão. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when István Tulipán made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, István Tulipán got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brúnó Selymes during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 55 minutes into the game, one of Szajk LC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dito Bezerra shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Szajk LC's Álmos Simon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Dionísio in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tiago Gabriel Dionísio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Álmos Simon was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. With a little luck, Szajk LC's Álmos Simon got control of the ball when Bruninho Abreu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Álmos Simon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Abreu in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match Cachaça FC got a corner. Szajk LC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dito Bezerra ran over to the corner to take the kick. Álmos Simon was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Tiago Gabriel Dionísio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tiago Gabriel Dionísio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. André Lira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Álmos Simon made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cachaça FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
