In the 13thth minute of the game Tiago Gabriel Dionísio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lapachito's Ciro Aimar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Osvaldinho Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Cachaça FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldinho Fernandes couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Tiago Gabriel Dionísio made a precise shot to the right of Ciro Aimar. Lapachito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee gave Cachaça FC a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dito Bezerra, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lapachito's Ciro Aimar. 0-2. Ciro Aimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Cachaça FC's Marcelinho Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Tiso in the 53rd minute of play. Osvaldinho Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Ciro Aimar made a huge save. After 60 minutes, Osvaldinho Fernandes made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Lapachito's Ciro Aimar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute, Tiago Gabriel Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
