When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Alfonso Miranda took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Charilaos Katevatis to make any attempt to save it. Highway to Hell's Charilaos Katevatis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo Placidi in the 38th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfonso Miranda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Charilaos Katevatis. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Menelaos Alexopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Highway to Hell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Supremacy Catania FC the free kick. The wind increased when Menelaos Alexopoulos made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Edoardo Di Lorenzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. Diego Arioli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th match minute, Supremacy Catania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Pari to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eraldo Trotta in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charilaos Katevatis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charilaos Katevatis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eraldo Trotta's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Ettore Vulcano made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Vassilis Agathiou sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Pavlos Oustabasidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 played minutes Highway to Hell got a freekick which was hit by Trifon Pergaminos. There was no doubt that Supremacy Catania FC were the better team. Supremacy Catania FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
