If Gonzalo Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Morientes kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Papillon AC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oscar Urki in the 9th minute. It was a well-played corner which Filomeno Arotza managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Walme Ortega stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Milian's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Israel Muelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Froylan having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Papillon AC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Milian. After 20 played minutes Papillon AC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Leheren. Severino Niva was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, CD Boiro's Xarles Cambero got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Mateo Leheren hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Adán Cuevas managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Boiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Adán Cuevas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Froylan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Papillon AC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CD Boiro were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adán Cuevas made a kick off. Walme Ortega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Milian in the 55th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Papillon AC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Haritzeder. After 59 played minutes, Papillon AC's Teo Atarrabi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Walme Ortega came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Papillon AC reached it. In the 60th minute, Teofilo Milian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walme Ortega was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Isidro Millán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th match minute, Papillon AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Milian to maneuver through the defense. CD Boiro's Israel Muelas got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Filomeno Arotza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walme Ortega stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Milian's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Narciso Froylan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceandro Ocaña in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Teofilo Milian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Papillon AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Milian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walme Ortega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teofilo Milian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Walme Ortega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Papillon AC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
