When Benedicto Lobo fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s protests and gave Benedicto Lobo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Benedicto Lobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uriel Isidor struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Agustin Pagomari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia FC. Benedicto Lobo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Agustin Pagomari was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Uriel Isidor. Federico Nicholas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Pagomari having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Gogo Montrelle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Camilo Palben got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Martxot came free, but Agustin Pagomari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Jorge Martxot scored to the left of an out of position Agustin Pagomari, making the score, 1-0. In the 37th minute, Jorge Martxot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agustin Pagomari was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 43rd minute, Amador Rosalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Leopoldo Laurgain made the kick off in the second half. Agustin Pagomari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Martxot in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Martxot in the 61st minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Agustin Pagomari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Camilo Palben hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Laurgain during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Laurgain. Angel Etxeberri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Laurgain in the 80th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Jorge Martxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Pagomari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Academia FC's Federico Nicholas got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Academia FC's Agustin Basso got a free kick in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Academia FC fully deserved thier win.
