The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of C.A.JORGOVAN booed when Microsoft Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardinho Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Fero in the 12th minute of play forced Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Dorian Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes, Microsoft Team's Bernardinho Peixoto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximo Calixto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Microsoft Team reached it. The audience was convinced that Luiz Eduardo Netto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximo Calixto was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After 23 played minutes Microsoft Team got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Loureiro. Sérgio Loureiro's late challenge caught a C.A.JORGOVAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sérgio Loureiro helped the player get up and apologised. Dorian Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Malvin in the 28th minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Maximo Calixto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Microsoft Team getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Luiz Eduardo Netto hit a great ball. A hard shot by Aaron Beila from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Dorian Catarinense's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The C.A.JORGOVAN players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Microsoft Team were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Eduardo Netto was the one to do the kick off. Eulalio Colas's late challenge caught a Microsoft Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eulalio Colas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Eulalio Colas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, C.A.JORGOVAN's Lucio Fero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorian Catarinense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dorian Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Malvin in the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Microsoft Team got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Loureiro. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Lucio Fero managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.JORGOVAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Fero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorian Catarinense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rubinho Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute Luiz Fernando Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Calixto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Ostots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dorian Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cauã Vinhas came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maximo Calixto could save by the left post. Segundo Etxepare blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorian Catarinense having to make a save. After 78 played minutes Microsoft Team got a freekick which was hit by Rubinho Furtado. Angel Medero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dorian Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Malvin in the 92nd minute of play. Microsoft Team's Dorian Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Malvin in the 97th minute of play.
