The supporters of The Hanging Tree booed when Microsoft Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Eduardo Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Microsoft Team were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after The Hanging Tree's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz Fernando Ferraz took the corner. The corner ended in Luiz Fernando Ferraz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Hanging Tree's Eleuterio Quexal did a great save. 34 minutes into the match, Microsoft Team's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Tajo came free, but Dorian Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sérgio Loureiro hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Microsoft Team's zone, Fabio Abaunza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorian Catarinense came out of the goal and Fabio Abaunza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorian Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Tajo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Placido Furtado hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Eleuterio Quexal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luiz Fernando Ferraz. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Eduardo Netto was the one to do the kick off. Dorian Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Abaunza in the 51st minute of play. Luan Pontes charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luan Pontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Gogo Tajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Fabio Abaunza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Eleuterio Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Fabio Abaunza took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorian Catarinense. Dorian Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Microsoft Team's Cauã Vinhas got a free kick in the 89th minute. Fabio Abaunza took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorian Catarinense. Dorian Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Hanging Tree played a much better game than Microsoft Team and deserved their victory. The Microsoft Team players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
