C.A.JORGOVAN's Maximo Calixto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.JORGOVAN from getting a goal against them. Silverio Gumaro's late challenge caught a C.A.JORGOVAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Delmar Markel managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Hanging Tree's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmar Markel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Calixto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Malvin to strike the kick off in the second half. Eleuterio Quexal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Victoriano Onofre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximo Calixto having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Fabio Abaunza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximo Calixto was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the The Hanging Tree players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
