Higinio Garikoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Ciempa in the 41st minute of the match. After 42 minutes of play, FC Catalonia's Roch Ciempa made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Garikoitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrado Ilixo to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ATE AFC's goalkeeper Higinio Garikoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 54 minutes, Cayetano Liberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ATE AFC and the FC Catalonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zula Gongola was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Librić in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Rzeszutko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Igor Zbikowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Garikoitz having to interfere. Igor Zbikowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Higinio Garikoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded FC Catalonia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ATE AFC.
