The audience thought a goal was coming when Juliusz Pacholewski got free with Aleksander Smefeldt in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 9 played minutes Gleszcz SSA got a freekick which was hit by Marian Serwacki. In the 12th minute Stanislaw Podolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Smefeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ksawery Nakonieczny received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aleksander Smefeldt came out and tried to block the shot, but Ksawery Nakonieczny slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Bengt-Arne Svanberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanislaw Podolski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Aleksander Smefeldt made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Juliusz Pacholewski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aleksander Smefeldt. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. A collision led to Bloodthirsty FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Marc Lindgren hit a great ball. The supporters of Gleszcz SSA booed when Bloodthirsty FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Pihlblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Juliusz Pacholewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gleszcz SSA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The supporters of Gleszcz SSA booed when Bloodthirsty FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Hernström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Stanislaw Podolski made a precise shot to the right of Aleksander Smefeldt. Bloodthirsty FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachariasz Chojnacki in the 41st minute of play forced Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Aleksander Smefeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match, Zachariasz Chojnacki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aleksander Smefeldt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 45th minute, Stanislaw Podolski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aleksander Smefeldt was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Sten Hernström made the kick off in the second half. Bloodthirsty FC's Aleksander Smefeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Pacholewski in the 58th minute of play. Aleksander Smefeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Pacholewski in the 60th minute of play. Sten Hernström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Benedykt Bielenda made a huge save. When Kristian Nordström fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bloodthirsty FC's protests and gave Kristian Nordström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, one of Bloodthirsty FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bloodthirsty FC. Aleksander Smefeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz Pacholewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Stanislaw Podolski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Zachariasz Chojnacki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gleszcz SSA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. A collision led to Bloodthirsty FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Sten Hernström hit a great ball. Aleksander Smefeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz Pacholewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Ksawery Nakonieczny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Stanislaw Podolski came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Gleszcz SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislaw Podolski couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Nakonieczny in the 93rd minute of play forced Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Aleksander Smefeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleksander Smefeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Pacholewski in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Gleszcz SSA were the better team. Gleszcz SSA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
