Danny Gabiña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Abascal in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Deportivo Empate's goalkeeper Celestino Abancens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Santillion. After some careless play in the Deportivo Empate defense, Fortunato Victorica kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Abancens. The Deportivo Empate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Abancens should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Lealtad Futbol Club booed when Deportivo Empate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gomez Abadia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th match minute, Deportivo Empate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Abeita to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Rogerio Troche took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Celestino Abancens to make any attempt to save it. Lealtad Futbol Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
