AZURDUY F.C.'s Ulises Bastian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Verheije in the 58th minute of play. When Cipriano Chuan fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AZURDUY F.C.'s protests and gave Cipriano Chuan a yellow card for diving instead. Cipriano Chuan kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Lou Haesevoets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lou Haesevoets, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The Bacardi FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AZURDUY F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for AZURDUY F.C..
