Equipo's Orlando Leoiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Verheije in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymond Verheije in the 4th minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Orlando Leoiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Leoiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guust Gijselinkx in the 5th minute. Omar Librado might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliver Pluijssens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Librado ran back to his position shaking his head. Orlando Leoiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diederick Meulders, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Omar Librado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oliver Pluijssens having to make a save. Oliver Pluijssens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Librado in the 14th minute of play. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Raymond Verheije sped through Equipo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Orlando Leoiar. In the 23rd minute Fulgencio Matxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Pluijssens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Equipo's Fulgencio Matxin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oliver Pluijssens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 34th minute Omar Librado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Pluijssens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Bacardi FC defense, Omar Librado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oliver Pluijssens. The Bacardi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oliver Pluijssens should have stopped the shot. Oliver Pluijssens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Librado in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, Equipo's Omar Librado made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oliver Pluijssens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oliver Pluijssens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Beltza in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The supporters of Equipo booed when Bacardi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Denys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Omar Librado's late challenge caught a Bacardi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omar Librado helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Equipo getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Omar Librado hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bacardi FC's Oliver Pluijssens got control of the ball when Omar Librado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oliver Pluijssens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Librado, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Raymond Verheije fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Leoiar having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Diederick Meulders came free, but Orlando Leoiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Librado in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver Pluijssens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee gave Equipo a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amadeo Iratze, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bacardi FC's Oliver Pluijssens. 1-5. Higinio Beltza struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Oliver Pluijssens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Equipo. Bacardi FC made a substitution. Andrew Van Baerlem replaced Enzo Denys. 85 minutes into the game, Andrew Van Baerlem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bacardi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Equipo the free kick. After 85 played minutes Bacardi FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Van Baerlem. 86 minutes into the match, Omar Librado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oliver Pluijssens. Bacardi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Librado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raymond Verheije in the 94th minute of play forced Equipo's goalkeeper Orlando Leoiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Equipo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
