But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yan da Silveira couldn't finish the play.

In the 53rd minute, Yan da Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Cefero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Faustino Oihan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Recife could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Joel Cefero made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Lucas Recife's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Cefero was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Yan da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Cefero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of El Imperio del Cuervo booed when Caxinha F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Caxinha F. C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Imperio del Cuervo throughout the match.
