Norbert Verhulst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 沈迪志 in the 11th minute of play. The Cylon fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Cylon's 沈迪志 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 16 minutes into the match, 沈迪志 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norbert Verhulst. Sporting Westmeerbeek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 沈迪志 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Dominick Verengen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 林城谦 having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, 沈迪志 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cylon's supporters crossed their fingers, but 沈迪志 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Cylon getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. 曲冰卫 hit a great ball. Dominick Verengen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 林城谦 having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, 龙钢超 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Norbert Verhulst was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute 沈迪志 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Verhulst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norbert Verhulst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 沈迪志, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by 龙钢超 in the 35th minute of play forced Sporting Westmeerbeek's goalkeeper Norbert Verhulst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sporting Westmeerbeek's Norbert Verhulst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 沈然弘 in the 36th minute of play. 沈迪志 took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norbert Verhulst. Norbert Verhulst dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Benjamin Thielemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 龙钢超 to make the kick off. Norbert Verhulst made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when 沈然弘 sent off a good shot on target. Cylon's 宋傲远 has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute of the match, 龙钢超 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Norbert Verhulst saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 58th minute 龙钢超 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Verhulst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 林城谦 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominick Verengen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 庞桦景 during the 64th minute. The Cylon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. 95 minutes into the match, 沈迪志 notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Sporting Westmeerbeek's Norbert Verhulst. Norbert Verhulst was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Cylon could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sporting Westmeerbeek throughout the match.
