The referee ignored DIF LEEDS BK's protests and gave Boris Arvidsson a yellow card for diving instead. Erland Löfkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Aaron Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Frederico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Colon got free with Aaron Bergqvist in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Scofield's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Kellbom came free, but Fabian Pello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the DIF LEEDS BK defense, Nicasio Frederico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Bergqvist. The DIF LEEDS BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Bergqvist should have stopped the shot. After having played for 44 minutes, Hans Kellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIF LEEDS BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Kellbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th match minute, Scofield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Elorri to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hans Kellbom to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Juan Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scofield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicasio Frederico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DIF LEEDS BK's Aaron Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Frederico in the 57th minute of play. Erland Löfkvist's late challenge caught a Scofield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erland Löfkvist helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Scofield booed when DIF LEEDS BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erland Löfkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Scofield's Domingos Donio in action when he in the 60th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 65thth minute of the game Nicasio Frederico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DIF LEEDS BK's Aaron Bergqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denis Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Bergqvist having to interfere. During the 77th minute of the match Boris Arvidsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Boris Arvidsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 78th match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute Scofield were awarded a corner. Juan Romero went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Roman Elorri to score against Aaron Bergqvist in DIF LEEDS BK's goal. 2-1 after 80 minutes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Romero in the 84th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Aaron Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute Juan Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Romero in the 90th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Aaron Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Frederico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Scofield's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
