Berlin booed when Tiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Detmar Stuchtey didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Edmund Schoettle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rocco Carnitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Matteo Kasseckert hit a great ball. In the 45th match minute, Tiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulko Schwaderer to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmund Schoettle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rocco Carnitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Schoettle, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 61st minute, Fulko Schwaderer made a precise shot to the right of Rocco Carnitz. SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 67th minute, Herwig Fricke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Zinédine Stoletzky in the 69th minute really tested Rocco Carnitz's skills. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raik Sauer got free with Rocco Carnitz in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zinédine Stoletzky recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
