Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Felipe Jaramillo got the match started through his kick off. BRUGGE FC's Gualterio Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Björkdahl in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Gösta Björkdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualterio Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Björkdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Wallin got free with Gualterio Trancoso in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, BRUGGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Björkdahl came free, but Gualterio Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualterio Trancoso made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Elliot Malmgren sent off a good shot on target. Tony Wallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gualterio Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Wallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tony Wallin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Gualterio Trancoso made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Pihl United's Tony Wallin got a free kick in the 28th minute. BRUGGE FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Thierry Henry scored to the left of an out of position Gualterio Trancoso, making the score, 2-0. In the 34th minute, Joakim Näver made a precise shot to the right of Gualterio Trancoso. BRUGGE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some careless play in the BRUGGE FC defense, Joakim Näver kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualterio Trancoso. The BRUGGE FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualterio Trancoso should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thierry Henry was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Björkdahl in the 53rd minute of play forced BRUGGE FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes, Felipe Jaramillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BRUGGE FC and the Pihl United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes BRUGGE FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Jaramillo. Joakim Näver hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as BRUGGE FC's Arnas Barrosa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hjalmar Lind. That made the score 6-1 after 56 minutes of play. Thierry Henry scored 7-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gualterio Trancoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tony Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Trancoso having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Thierry Henry cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Gualterio Trancoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the match, Elliot Malmgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gualterio Trancoso. BRUGGE FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elliot Malmgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. After 77 minutes, Thierry Henry made it 11-1 with a short kick to the right side. BRUGGE FC's Gualterio Trancoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 81 minutes of play, Pihl United's Thierry Henry made it 12-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualterio Trancoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute, Joakim Näver made a precise shot to the right of Gualterio Trancoso. BRUGGE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-1. 90 minutes into the match, BRUGGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Henry came free, but Gualterio Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Tony Wallin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gualterio Trancoso. BRUGGE FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tony Wallin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-1. Thierry Henry took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualterio Trancoso. Gualterio Trancoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 16-1. When the referee ended the match the Pihl United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
