Rafa Guimarães hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 49th minute of the match Cirilo Atauri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Vítor de Sousa skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlinhos Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lino Bonadona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Vítor de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Gotzon in the 56th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Aquilino Gotzon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DEPORTIVO SJ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 64th minute, Emiliano Orkatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emiliano Orkatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Vítor de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Carlinhos Moreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube Atlético Impávido's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DEPORTIVO SJ the free kick.
