George Neuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Bojanowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Modrić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Olgierd Trac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Álvaro Proença got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabian Golob kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Olgierd Trac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Modrić in the 11th minute of the match. If Cafu de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Three Lions FC's George Modrić got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olgierd Trac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Modrić, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Three Lions FC's Álvaro Proença got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Witalis Polakowski during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, POLONIA BYTOM's Witalis Polakowski got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Hugon Bronder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute George Modrić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olgierd Trac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Three Lions FC's goalkeeper George Neuer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Three Lions FC's George Neuer got control of the ball when Hugon Bronder tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 47 minutes, George Modrić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Three Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Modrić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. POLONIA BYTOM's Tanek Jajesniak was substituted for Hugon Bronder. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radomir Bojanowski to strike the kick off in the second half. George Modrić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olgierd Trac having to interfere. A collision led to Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Kléber Cerezo hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Witalis Polakowski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Three Lions FC's George Neuer didn't even have to move. Radomir Bojanowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Neuer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Three Lions FC's George Modrić dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 65th minute, Cafu de Moraes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Three Lions FC's Cafu de Moraes got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in POLONIA BYTOM's zone, George Modrić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olgierd Trac came out of the goal and George Modrić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to POLONIA BYTOM getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Damian Marut hit a great ball. If Cafu de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Cafu de Moraes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olgierd Trac. The goal made the score 1-2. Tanek Jajesniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Neuer having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, George Modrić recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olgierd Trac. George Modrić showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Cafu de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Álvaro Proença struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Olgierd Trac didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Three Lions FC. In the 98th match minute, POLONIA BYTOM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milosz Bierfass to maneuver through the defense.
