When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Americo Berriotxoa sped through Remedios SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Eduardo Leão. Noel Couto hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Pedro Fernandes could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Carlos Eduardo Leão however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Berriotxoa in the 10th minute of play forced Remedios SC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Family siempre booed when Remedios SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yan Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute of the match Luisito Lucian shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Eduardo Leão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Remedios SC's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Berriotxoa came free, but Carlos Eduardo Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Americo Berriotxoa in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Eduardo Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Delfim Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With his leg Carlos Eduardo Leão managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Family siempre's Pedro Fernandes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 28th match minute, Remedios SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Remedios SC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Erasmo Baptista hit a great ball. The supporters of Family siempre booed when Remedios SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovânio Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 minutes of play, Family siempre's Pedro Fernandes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Eduardo Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Pedro Fernandes took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Carlos Eduardo Leão to make any attempt to save it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Noel Couto made a kick off. Remedios SC's Carlos Eduardo Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Berriotxoa in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Family siempre booed when Remedios SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Carlos Eduardo Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Family siempre. After some careless play in the Remedios SC defense, Pedro Fernandes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Eduardo Leão. The Remedios SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Eduardo Leão should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Americo Berriotxoa during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, Family siempre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Berriotxoa to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Eduardo Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Berriotxoa in the 80th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Fernandes in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Eduardo Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Eduardo Leão came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Family siempre's Pedro Fernandes. But to his dismay, Pedro Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Fernandes in the 90th minute of play forced Remedios SC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Abancens took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Eduardo Leão. Carlos Eduardo Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Family siempre walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
